Welcome to Salem Elementary School, where every child is valued, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential! I am honored to serve as the principal of this wonderful school, where our dedicated staff works tirelessly to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for all students. At Salem Elementary, we believe in fostering a love of learning, building strong character, and developing the skills necessary for lifelong success.
Our school is more than just a place of education—it’s a community where students, families, and teachers come together to support one another. We encourage parents and guardians to be active partners in their child’s education, and we look forward to working together to make this school year a great one. Russell County Schools has partnered with Adair County Schools to form a collaborative consortium that expands services for students and families served through the Migrant Education Program. Through this partnership, the districts will share resources and expertise to provide enhanced academic support and essential services for eligible migrant students and their families. The 2024-25 Assessment and Accountability scores for Russell County Schools are officially released to the public today. The district received scores in the core subjects as well as other factors such as school climate, safety, and graduation rate.
